The crowd filled Bedford Community Stadium to witness a 100% ground game by the Mules.
Bedford never threw the ball, not once. Bedford's combination of Tom Shepard and Justin Strickland took control of the game, ground game that is and took care of business.
Shepherd carried the ball 34 times for 176 yards. Strickland had 87 yards in 17 carries. Both had two running touchdowns. Strickland added to the defense that contained Pioneer most of the game and held off a late comeback attempt by Pioneer.
