Bedford vs Ypsilanti - SEC Varsity Football
Bedford came into Ypsilanti looking for the first victory of the 2014 campaign. It was not easy by no means.
Bedford took an early 14-0 lead on TD runs by Justin Strickland and Tommy Shepard. Ypsilanti came roaring back with with 2 TD's of their own. One TD was a fumble recovery for the score.
The first half ended 14-14.
Another fumble by the Mules stopped a long drive deep into Grizzly territory midway through the third. Brad Williams punting kept the the Grizzlies back against their goal line several times.
Strickland gave the Mules the lead, 21-14 with a 1yd TD run early in the 4th quarter.
Big interception by Joe Wiemer midway through the fourth proves to be the turning point of the game.
