Game #21 – Bedford 10, Airport/Flat Rock 4
Airport/Flat Rock came into the game with an interim head coach and a record far below ,500.  But six minutes into the game the Jets held a 2-0 lead on Bedford, much to the delight of the Senior Day home crowd.  Fortunately for the Mules that was pretty much the extent of their glee.  By the end of the first period the Mules held a 3-2 lead that eventually led to a 10-4 final.

Jacob Schulty put Bedford on the board, assisted by Jacob Nelson and Ian Andres, with just over three minutes left in the period.  Jake Stark tied the game, assisted by David Jeffers, then Ian Andres scored his first of four goals, assisted by Schulty and Stark, with eight seconds left.

Andres made it 4-2 on a power play, assisted by Stark and Matt Dulbs.  Airport made it 4-3 with 3:26 left in the second period, but 24 seconds later Jeffers responded, assisted by Schulty.  In the last minute of play in the period, Andres scored twice, assisted both times by Jeffers and Stark, and the rout was on.

The Mules added a pair of third period goals, bringing the score to 9-3, closing in on the 8 goal mercy rule.  Schulty scored from Andres and Nelson, followed by Ethan Aubry from Schulty and David Box.  The Jets chipped in a short-handed goal in the last minute of play, and Bedford responded with a Marek Snyder power play goal during the same penalty, assisted by Stark.
