Good start but Mules downed by Chelsea

The Mules played one of their best periods of the season to open their game against Chelsea. Despite being outshot 17-6, Bedford kept the Bulldogs off the scoreboard. However, it didn’t work out so well in the second period as Chelsea built a commanding 6-1 lead. Jacob Schulty scored the lone Bedford goal.

It looked like another mercy game for the Mules, but Chelsea was only able to notch two more goals in the third period for an 8-1 final score. The Bulldogs clearly dominated the offense, racking up a 52-18 shot advantage.
