Just like the last time the teams met back in December, Bedford scored first, New Boston Huron took the lead with a pair of quick goals, and then Bedford roared back.  The end result was an 8-5 Mule victory.

Jake Stark scored the only goal of the first period.  But before a minute had elapsed in the second period, the Mules were behind.  Midway through the period Bedford posted four unanswered goals within a three minute span to open up a 5-2 lead.  David Jeffers scored the equalizer, assisted by Stark and Ian Andres.

Marek Snyder put the Mules ahead for good, assisted by Stark.  That was followed by an Andres goal, assisted by Bob Bobroski and Jacob Schulty.  Dale Davis, assisted by Andres and Bobroski, capped the outburst.

Huron made it 5-3 early in the third period, but Stark’s second goal of the night, assisted by Jeffers, restored the three goal lead.   The score grew to 8-3 on goals by Bobroski, assisted by Andres, and Andres, assisted by Bobroski and Davis.  Two late goals by the Chiefs concluded the scoring.  Bedford outshot Huron by a 33-25 count.
