Saline 5, Bedford 4  (OT)
Winning a game against Saline has been a difficult task for the Mules.  In the past 12 meetings, Bedford has only managed a 3-2 win in 2009 and a 4-3 overtime win in 2012.  This year a huge third period Bedford comeback forced overtime, but the Hornets took a mere 49 seconds to eke out a 5-4 decision.

Saline pounded home three first period goals and added one more midway through the second period to build a 4-0 lead.  Six minutes into the third period David Jeffers put the Mules on the board, assisted by Marek Snyder to make it a 4-1 game.

Then the Hornets got into penalty trouble.  With Bedford holding a two man advantage, Jake Stark made it 4-2, assisted by Matt Dulbs.  Still on the power play Stark scored again, assisted by Dale Davis, and suddenly it was a one goal game.  And then with five minutes remaining in regulation, Joseph Staszek poked the puck home out of a crowd, assisted by Bobby Bernath.

However, on the first shot of overtime, Saline scored a breakaway goal to end the Bedford comeback.  The Hornets outshot the home team by a 30-15 margin.
