ANN ARBOR HURON: 7
Ann Arbor Huron continued their recent domination over Bedford with a convincing 7-2 victory. It was a familiar score at the Cube. In the last three visits to Ann Arbor, the Mules won 7-2 in the 2011-12 season and lost 7-2 in the 2013-14 season. The River Rats won both contests on Bedford ice in the between seasons.
The hosts scored an early goal, then added two more to take a 3-0 lead into the first intermission. The score went to 4-0 before Jacob Schulty put the Mules on the board. A pair of late goals gave Huron a 6-1 advantage at the second break.
Each team scored once in the third period. Bob Bobroski’s goal with a minute remaining, assisted by Dale Davis, was too little too late for Bedford. The Mules were outshot 33-24.
