Game Date
Dec 29, 2015
Score
MULES: 2

Bedford participated in the inaugural Dearborn Holiday Tournament and split their two games.

In the preliminary contest, the Mules dug themselves out of a 2-0 deficit to tie the game in the early portion of the second period.  However, Dearborn regained the lead with 30 seconds remaining in that period, then added a pair of third period goals to secure a 5-2 win.

Jake Stark put the Mules on the board against Dearborn barely a minute after the hosts had opened a two goal lead in the opening game.  Andres and Matt Dulbs picked up assists.  Two minutes later Andres tied it up, assisted by Schulty and David Box.  Bedford gained some momentum later in the second period when goalkeeper Noah Smalley stopped a Dearborn penalty shot, only to lose it by giving up a goal with 30 seconds left in the period.

Two early third period Dearborn goals sealed Bedford’s fate.  The Mules were outshot 31-18 in the game.
