Ann Arbor Skyline 4, Bedford 3

Less than 24 hours after the Saline thriller, Bedford found itself again trying to dig out of a hole.  Ann Arbor Skyline scored twice in the latter stages of the first period and in the first minute of the second period for a 3-0 lead.  That score held for the next 29 minutes.

With 4:20 remaining in the game, Ian Andres cut the deficit to two on his first goal of the season, assisted by Bob Bobroski and Dale Davis.  Then 70 seconds later it was Ethan Aubry scoring, with assists to David Jeffers and Jake Stark.  The Mules were thinking déjà vu, but it didn’t happen.  The Eagles regained their two goal lead with 2:35 remaining in the game.

Andres scored with 1:24 left, assisted by Stark, and again there was hope with an empty Bedford net and an extra attacker.  The Mules had a couple of decent chances, but couldn’t put the puck home.  Bedford outshot Skyline 27-25, but the Eagles prevailed 4-3 on the score.
