Bedford opened its Northwest Ohio Hockey Conference schedule by trouncing Whitmer. 10-0. The Mules scored three times in the first period, four times in the second, and put a mercy ending to the game with three quick third period goals. The Panthers were outshot 42-3.
David Jeffers, Lucas Haberkamp, and Jacob Schulty each scored a pair of goals. Other Bedford goal scorers were Jake Stark, Grant Harper, Darry Kuchcinski, and Ethan Aubry.
