Bedford Swim and Dive started 2016 off right with a Victory over Dundee and Riverview last night. The final scores were Bedford 98/Dundee 88.  Bedford 121/Riverview 65.

The team swam great for our first duel meet of the season. There were three new school records set. 

Logan Santiago set a new record in Diving by almost 10 pts.  202.7 and Kevin Lingle broke the record in the 100 Free with a time of 49.01.

The 400 Free Relay of Ellsworth, Smith, Cavins and Lingle also qualified for the State Competition and broke the old school record with at time of 3:25.08

The 200 Medley Relay team of Cavins, Kevin Lingle, Ellsworth, and Zak Smith was just shy of the team Record recently set by Cavins, Lingle, Mays and Ellsworth  of 1:42.36 at our first meet of the season. Both times qualify the team for State Competition.

The 200 Free Relay of  Gregory Lingle, Kyler Schreder, Noah Scheffer, and Tom Mays has officially qualfied to swim at MISCAs in February with a time of 1:38.19

We had a lot of Personal Bests last night as well. Way to start off the New Year!- Coach Scheffer
