The Bedford Boys cross country team placed 27th at the State Finals yesterday, a spot above where they were predicted to be. Despite two runners with injuries and a last minute substitution, the boys all ran well. Michael Greeley finished 47th overall, crossing the line in 16:42. Noah Scheffer finished in 17:14 (102nd), and despite and injury, Colin Chevalier held on to run 17:40 (149th). Sophomore Jake Reaume crossed the line at 17:47, and Freshman Austin DePue finished at 17:47, as well, missing his PR by a tenth of a second. The team looks to be a contender next year, as all of these runners will be returning next year.
